By accessing or using Finlo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Finlo provides automated health monitoring for Xero accounting organisations. The Service runs daily health checks and provides reports, scores, and recommendations based on your Xero data.

The Service is for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, accounting, or professional advice. You should consult with qualified professionals for specific advice.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Xero Integration

The Service integrates with Xero via their official API. By connecting your Xero account, you:

  • Authorise us to access read-only data from your connected Xero organisations
  • Confirm you have the authority to grant this access
  • Acknowledge that you can revoke access at any time

5. Subscription and Payment

Finlo offers various subscription tiers with different features and limits. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees.

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
  • Refunds are provided in accordance with our refund policy
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice

6. Free Trial

We offer a 14-day free trial of our Pro plan. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial, you may subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Share your account credentials with others or allow unauthorised access
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Finlo and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Finlo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Disclaimer

Health check results and recommendations are generated automatically based on available data. They may not identify all issues and should not replace professional accounting or financial review. You remain responsible for your Xero data and financial records.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
